Master Of Arts - Tamil

Master of Arts (M.A: Tamil) programme enables the students for acquaintance with Tamil literature and develop a critical outlook. The students will be able to become creative writers and researchers in the field of Tamil language and literature.

M.A. Tamil Programme provides variety of topic -specific skills including;

i) Knowledge about communication skills
ii) Knowledge about communication skills

Objective

To make the students appropriate and evaluate the prescribed Tamil prose.
To make the students appropriate and evaluate the prescribed Tamil poetry.
To make the students appropriate and evaluate the prescribed Tamil drama.
To make the students appropriate and evaluate the prescribed Tamil fiction.
To develop the habits of effective reading.
To develop effective writing skills especially for academic purpose.

Eligiblity

Pass in BA Tamil from Recognized University

Duration: Minimum 2 year & Max 4 year
